The College sincerely invites applications from talented personnel for the international-teacher positions. The College has a 22-year-long history of employing international teachers. In the past few years, the College has at least 10 international teachers every year for Oral English, English Writing, English Literature, American Literature, Drama and Public Speaking. For the coming school year, 11 international teachers are needed in the Foreign Language Department, Pre-School Education Department and International Business Department.

Requirements

I. An applicant should be a native English speaker.

II. The minimum requirement is a Bachelor degree.

III. An applicant should have at least two-year teaching experience.

IV. An applicant should be in good health.

Employee's Salary and Welfare

I Salary

1. An international teacher (FT)'s salary will be determined by the College according to the duties required of the FT and the demonstrated professional competence, with consideration of his/her academic training, qualifications and work experience.
2. Salary will be paid as usual during winter vacations and holidays stipulated by the Chinese government.
3. Vacation allowance RMB1,100 will be granted every semester.
4. At the end of the first period of service (one year equals a period), the College will pay RMB8,000 yuan for a FT's one-way ticket. If a FT continues his/her teaching for another year, the College will pay RMB12,000 yuan for his/her round tickets at the end of the second period of service.
5. If a FT, under a one-year contract, continues his/her teaching in the college for another year, he/she will receive his/her salary as usual during summer vacations. If a FT, under a one-semester contract, continues his/her teaching in the college for another year, he/she will receive one month salary during summer vacations.
6. The College buys the personal accident insurance for a foreign teacher.
7. 80% of cost of medical care for common illness treatment and medicine will be provided.

II Housing

　　An apartment with kitchen, bathroom, furniture, bedding, television set, refrigerator, air conditioner and other basic appliances will be provided for every FT.

III Rest and Holidays

A FT is entitled to all Chinese public holidays and summer and winter vacations as scheduled by the College. A free trip in Guangdong Province will be arranged every semester.

The College shows respect and consideration for some important festivals of a FT's country. For example, a FT is granted two days of holiday time for Christmas Day.
